Congratulations Mr & Mrs Pepler who got married in Swindon and had their evening reception at the lovely Wyck Hill House on the 8th September 2018.
Hotshots Entertainment was booked to provide a Platinum show and 2 hour photo booth and where do I begin, this was such a fantastic wedding. The early part of the evening started of with the guest coming into the room for the wedding breakfast and then I play some entrance music for the bridal party as Bruce did the MC (a great job he did). I played some background music whilst they were eating.
It was time for the speeches and James Bailey got up to take over the role of MC from Bruce, and got everyone up that was needed to do a speech, everyone did very well and Alex’s speech was very touching. Laura’s sister Emily got up to do a speech, but she had a surprise for them as her fiance Jack Futerill playing the guitar and Anna Smith (Laura’s cousin) sang Fields Of Gold, but she had rewrote the song to fit with the wedding and the happy couple. All I can say is WOW it was perfect in every way, outstanding performance.
The guests left the room while it was being turned around for the evening and once they came back in, some were signing the lovely restored propeller. The wedding favours were a little wooden kit form plane which they had made. It was then time for the cake and straight after the first dance to Ronan Keating – When You Say Nothing At All. After then it just went off, there were quite a few guests from Australia as the bride is form there. They sure know how to party up on the dance floor or in the photo booth, picking up the bride and groom in the air while dancing, it was truly an awesome evening.
I think at one stage there were more photo booth props on the dance floor then in the photo booth, it looked like nearly everyone had at leats one item on. In true format I was asked to play Waltzing Matilda and all the guests loved that along with another song for Sammy who could not make it Working Class Man. We also did the bouquet toss and garter toss in the evening.
The end of the evening we finished with Aerosmith – I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing as the happy couple chose the song, but I managed to play one last one for the Australians, yeah you guess it Waltzing Matilda one more time.
Thank you ever so much for booking with Hotshots Entertainment and enjoy your honeymoon, we wish you many years of happiness together.
