Many congratulations to Adrian & Jenny Cox who got married at the lovely Powderham Castle.
The day started leaving Bristol to arrive at the venue in plenty of time, but traffic was an issue, what was meant to take about 1 hour & 40 minutes, turned into a 2.5-hour trip as traffic was really bad, I think a couple of accidents & people heading south going on holiday, but I stuck with the traffic & after Bridgewater, it was good going, I arrived still with time to spare & setup everything with about 15 minutes before I started at 7.30 pm.
The first dance was going to be at 8.00 pm, but it took place a little later & was lovely, it was the first time I have ever been asked to play Tom Odell – Grow Old With Me I did not have it so I purchased the song & listen to it a couple of times & I love it. The happy couple took to the dance floor while their family & friends crowded around, then about halfway through I called everyone up to join them, then straight after we went for a bit of Rock “n” Roll which everyone was having a great time, young & old on the dance floor.
As the night went on I played some cheesy songs for the ex-students & some up to date songs, it looked like everyone was having a great time, all the staff there were amazing & they even put some food behind for me, which was very nice & I’m so grateful. Then about 10 pm they had some fireworks going off, I must say it was the best fireworks I have seen for a long time.
You both looked perfect & I wish you both many years of happiness together.
