Hotshots entertainment was booked in to provide a Wedding DJ and LOVE Letters. The day started off by taking the LOVE letters up to Coombe Lodge for 11am. They were set up and placed them in the bay window and they looked lovely.
We went back up for 6.00pm to start setting up for the evening, the guests had not quite finished their desert. So I had a quick catch up with Ben Pope from A Perfect Memory who was booked for as the videographer. Wayne Reid was booked as the photographer.
Not long after the room was clear so we started setting everything up with a pink colour scheme. We placed the wireless uplighting around the room along with the freedom sticks alongside our Silver package.
It had been a really nice sunny day and the weather was the best it could be. This meant that Mrs Durbin could go out on the balcony and toss the bouquet down to the single women below. We soon got everyone back inside to cut the cake (which looked awesome). The time for the first dance by Ben Howard – Only Love. It was a perfect song choice after about 1 minute I invited everyone to the dance floor. We started the party with Uptown Funk as requested by the bride and Groom.
8.30pm struck and it was time for the father and daughter dance to Chuck Berry – You Never Can Tell which took me back to the film Pulp Fiction. Everyone got up to dance to it along with some other old classics. It was a fantastic night had by everyone and for a Thursday night, they sure knew how to party. Even when I finished just past midnight they were still singing along at the top of their voices. There was plenty of foot stomping through the night and one guy who could bounce really high and you can see that in a picture below.
I did manage to take some great pictures, you can find a few below and the rest you can find HERE, please tag and share with your family and friends, there were a couple of video’s I took, here is a LINK to them.
Thank you for booking with Hotshots Entertainment and I wish you both many years of happiness together.
