Congratulations to Chris P and Chris T who got married on the 16th June 2018 in a marquee at Cotham Park RFC.
Hotshots Entertainment was booked in to provide an all-day wedding service and what a day/evening it was. It started off by setting up the booth and PA for the ceremony music, plus an additional speaker for the piano. Tom who is Chris P’s friend was playing the trumpet and Victor who is Chris P’s brother was on the piano did the walk-in music for the happy couple. I watched from the back of the room while Rosalind Love did the blessing, such a lovely lady and did a fantastic job.
When the ceremony was finished they wanted to cut the cake straight away. I played Les Toreadors as they cut the cake as they are both massive Formula 1 fans and have been to many events together. In fact, they got engaged at an event, a few people sat at the front had party poppers and popped them to give off an F1 effect. I even had a part in this, their cake was awesome and tasted really nice. It was time for the walk out music and the guys like to be different, so most people got up to the conga for the walk out going around the marquee in style, it was great fun to watch.
It was then time to turn the room around while people when upstairs to the bar, they had a few friends helping out, such good friends doing all the hard work. When the room was finish and I finished setting up the disco for the evening. It was time to get the guest back down for the wedding breakfast which was a BBQ and wow the food was lovely, but just before the food got served Bianca the best woman got up to do a speech. She was very nervous, but she nailed it.
After the food, it was time for the main speeches and both Chris’s made a speech and Chris T’s dad did one. Then a surprise speech from Chris T’s sister who thanked everyone for traveling from so far away. Chris P’s parent came all the way from Hong Kong. There were people from Germany and all around the country, to be there on their special day.
A little later on when the evening guest started to arrive it was time for the first dance to Aerosmith – I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing. The happy couple got up to do their dance while the photographer Debbie Hudson worked her magic. I invited everyone else to the dancefloor about halfway through and from then on it was just a party all night long with some of their favourite songs being played.
I hope you all had a great day/evening and it was an honour to be part of your whole day, I did take some pictures, you can see a few below and the rest you can find HERE, please tag and share with family and friends.
Thank you for booking with Hotshots Entertainment and I wish you many years of happiness together and many more F1 events.
